2019 CGP Research Writing Group (Ongoing)
This is a bi weekly meeting where CGP Group members meet to hold each other accountable for writing goals and deadlines. Coffee, bagels and juice are provided- everyone just brings their laptop and projects to work on!
2019 National Multicultural Summit
Members of the CGP Group community were well represented at the APA National Multicultural Summit. We had over 10 presentations in total- and one national award winner (Dionne won the Mid- Career Award for Outstanding Multicultural Research and Teaching)! But it was our breakfast get togethers and coffee chats that were most memorable. Plus future CGP Group member Amir was in tow with his mommy!

This event was hosted by Dr. Asia Eaton's PWR Lab to encourage students to value work/ life negotiations. Attendees were provided with a healthy lunch followed by an outdoor painting session.
2018 National Institutes for Health Global Health Researchers Orientation (July)
Ana received a Global Health Equity Fellowship (GHES) fellowship to fund her dissertation project in Baru, Colombia. She, along with Drs. Stephens and Madhivanan, attended the program orientation at the NIH.
